Our Story...
Hey, we're Jake & Sophie!
We're based in Devon with our very naughty sausage dog Hugo (don't let his eyes fool you!!), when we're not photographing weddings you'll usually find us enjoying the Devon and Cornwall coastline, or planning our next ski trip so that we can escape to the mountains. We're also engaged ourselves, so we know first-hand how exciting (and occasionally overwhelming!) planning a wedding can feel. ​
Our approach is simple: we want your photos to feel like you. We focus on documentary-style storytelling, real moments, genuine connection and a relaxed approach. Most of the time we're just there alongside you and your guests, blending in, noticing the small details and big emotions, while you have an amazing day. When it comes to portraits, we'll step in with gentle direction so you get a selection of beautiful, relaxed images without your day turning into a full blown photoshoot.

Jake
Jake started out as a press and editorial photographer, and his work has been featured in publications like The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Daily Mail and National Geographic. He's worked with Getty Images and SWNS covering major news stories across the UK and photographing a whole range of public figures, from members of the royal family and high profile politicians to athletes and performers. ​​

These days his focus is firmly on weddings, but that background really shapes the way he works. His experience in reacting quickly to real world moments means he's calm under pressure and always looking for the story within the scene, the small gestures, the glances, the humour, the nerves. He brings the same instinct and attention to detail to every couple he photographs, creating images that feel raw, honest and beautifully true to the day. ​​
Sophie
​​​​​​Sophie is a photographer and established social media content creator with a degree in photography and a background working with brands including New Look, Karen Millen, Charlotte Tilbury and Dior. She's spent years creating polished, engaging content, so she knows exactly how to make things look beautiful on camera while still feeling real and relaxed. ​​
