Booking & Logistics
How far in advance should we book our photographer?
Most of our couples book 12-18 months in advance to secure their date, especially for peak dates between May and September. That said, we understand weddings can sometimes come together quickly, and we're always happy to accommodate last-minute or short notice bookings where we have availability. It's always worth reaching out, even if your date is just around the corner.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! Although we're based in the South West of England, we are more than happy to travel. Travel costs will apply outside of Devon and Cornwall, but we'll always be transparent with a tailored quote.
Can we meet you before booking?
Absolutely. We offer complimentary video or phone consultations (or in-person meet-ups, depending on location) to chat through your day, answer any questions, and ensure we're the right fit.
Are you insured?
Yes. We're fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity cover.
What's required to secure our date?
We require a signed contract and a deposit for 20% of your package cost. Once that's done - your date is locked in and the planning begins!

Photography Style & Approach
What is your wedding photography style?
Our style is natural, elegant and storytelling-led. We blend documentary-style moments with relaxed, creative portraits - capturing real emotions, stylish details and everything in between. Throughout the day, we won't be asking you to perform for the camera, we will capture the real moments that naturally unfold throughout the day, allowing you to be fully present with your family and friends rather than feeling like your wedding is a photoshoot.
Will you pose us during the portraits?
We keep things really relaxed during the 15 minutes we need for portraits. We'll give gentle direction when needed but always aim for natural, unforced moments. We like to use the portrait session as an opportunity for you both to have some alone time away from your guests, allowing you to take in the fact that you're now a married couple!!
Do you work with a second shooter?
Our coverage on prime weekend dates includes coverage with both Jake and Sophie through our Signature Collection. As a couple, we know exactly how each other works. That means we can anticipate where the other one will be, and quietly cover more of the day so that your story can be told from multiple perspectives at once, without anything feeling rushed or staged.
On The Day
How many hours coverage do we get?
Our full day collections typically spans from morning prep to around 30-60 minutes after the first dance (usually around 10 hours of coverage). If you're planning something special later in the evening (like fireworks or sparklers), additional hours can be added on to your package.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We're fully prepared for all weather conditions. We carry rain protection for our gear and know how to make the most of indoor and sheltered spaces. Rain can actually create some of the most romantic images!
After Your Wedding
When will we receive our wedding gallery?
A sneak peek gallery (20-30 images) will be delivered, fully edited in our signature style within 48 hours of your wedding. Your full online gallery is usually ready within 4-6 weeks during peak months.
Do you offer wedding albums and prints?
Yes, we can offer bespoke, handmade albums and coffee table books, created in the UK by FolioAlbums. Your digital gallery also offers a print gallery with all orders fulfilled by a professional print lab.
